8th grade Disneyland Gryphon Performing Arts Trip March 19-22 2025

Disney Musical Youth Program allows for instrumental students to experience the excitement of a working recording studio, where professional directors teach, then record short soundtrack excerpts from Disney movies (including Lion King, Marvel, Star Wars, etc.) They introduce sight-reading techniques, performance concepts, and the entire process for recording music tracks. Taught by industry composers, arrangers, conductors, or studio musicians, the 90-minute workshop culminates with a reveal of the students' hard work - a screening of their recording, set to the original Disney film footage.

The Disney Theater Youth Program exposes kids to the secrets behind their incredible ability to transport us into a new world. Immersive Storytelling is a fully realized experience bringing together the design of attractions, culinary arts, live performances, music, sculptures and more. This workshop, the secrets of this special creative storytelling practice are revealed. Students will get an inside look at how Disney Imagineers envision environments that provide the backdrop and create the magic for the immersive Disney stories that live across the Disney parks.

This donation covers the expense of our Disney Recording Soundtrack Session, luxury bus transportation (American Stage), hotel accommodations (Embassy Suites), 2 Tour T-Shirts, four meals, and a two-day Disney Hopper Pass.

Please be advised that this trip is dependent on our fundraising efforts and will be cancelled if we do not raise the needed funds. It's all of us or none of us.
